Rosh Hodesh Adar:
Rosh
Hodesh Adar Bet is coming this Monday! As part of our special Rosh Chodesh
program each student will receive a Hamantashen " אוזן המן" and we
will be dancing with students from other grades. We also going to have :"וְנַהֲפוֹךְ הוּא"-
Ve’ na ha foch Hoo (the opposite) I’ll be a student and the students will be a
teacher. What a fun!

This
week’s book is called:"וְנַהֲפוֹךְ הוּא"- Ve’ na ha foch Hoo- (the opposite!)
Please
encourage your child to read it aloud to you over the weekend .It is a great
way to practice all the vocabulary we have learned and will learn.
Ariot:
This
week Ariot is going to Carlotte’s home.
Hebrew reading workbook:
This week we finished our last workbook which teaches about the vowel Shoorok & Koobots (oo sound).
This means that we finished our reading program. Wow!
Purim Project:
Please send to school an empty “Pringels” can. (A big size can).
Purim:
This coming
week we will start the story of the Megillah.
cursive Hebrew letters:
This Monday we started to learn how to write cursive Hebrew letters. In this unit the students focused on forming the letters correctly and reading words written in cursive script. This week, we reviewed the letters:
א=א , ב=ב and ג=ג
Parashat Hashavua:
This Friday you will find in your child’s folder a picture page with a summary of the story of Parashot : פקודי .We reviewed all the various vessels that are in the Mishkan and the Kohanim’s clothes.
