Chag Hasiddur
We are continuing to practice our lines and our songs for our
“Chag Hasiddur”.
I am sending home another copy of your child’s part to practice at
home (in case you have lost it). Please make sure your child practices and
learns his/her part by heart.
Chag Hasiddur dress code:
Please dress your child in a blue or black skirt or pants and a
white shirt. Please do not send your child in a suit or a dress.
Cursive Hebrew letters:
We finished learning how to write all the Hebrew letters in
cursive.
From this point on all assignments will be written in script.
I am sending the cursive workbook to keep and review at
home.
In the folder you will find a seet with all the Alef-Bet letters your
child wrote in cursive.
Please keep practicing at
home and make sure your child is forming his/her
letters correctly. Specially if there are letters that are
circled. (Please look in the workbook to make sure what is the corect way
to write it).
Passover
This week, we started learning about “Pesach” (Passover).
We were very busy making our own Haggadadot. Each of us will bring one home before Pesach.
We learned that there are four names for Passover and the reason for each name. Of
course, there is still a lot to learn! We will be spending a lot of time over
the next few weeks learning all the laws and customs surrounding the Seder night and
Pesach.
Ariot:
This week Ariot is going to Aliya’s home.
“My library” הַסִפְרִיָה שֶלִי "
This week’s story is:"איפה הדב של דב " (Efo Hadov Shel Dov)- Wher is Dov’s bear?
This story is a good practice for some of this week words.
Parashat Hashavua: Parashat :"שמיני"
This Friday we learned about kosher and non-kosher animals, birds, and fish.
