Dear Parents,
Chag
HaSiddur was fabulous. I’m very proud of all my
students. Thank you for coming.
The Siddur:
We got to pray today from our own
siddur we received yesterday.
It was very exiting!
We added the beginning of the
"Amidah" prayer (18 Shmone Esrei),
I'm sending the old Siddur to keep
at home.
Passover:
This
week, we started learning about “Pesach” (Passover).
We were
very busy making our own Haggadadot. Each of us will bring one home before
Pesach.
We
learned that there are four names for Passover and the reason for
each name. Of course, there is still a lot to learn! We will be
spending a lot of time over the next few weeks learning all the laws and
customs surrounding the Seder night and Pesach.
Ariot:
This
week Ariot is going to Mendel’s home.
“My library” הַסִפְרִיָה שֶלִי "
This week’s book is called:"אופס" -“Oops”
Please encourage your child to read
it aloud to you over the weekend .It is a great way to practice all the
vocabulary we have learned.
Parashat Hashavua:
This Friday you will find in your child’s
folder a picture page with a summary of the story of Parashat : "ויקהל פקודי" We reviewed all the various
vessels that are in the Mishkan and we learned that Bezalel was the one
appointed by Hashem to build the Mishkan. We also learned that Moshe first
warned them to keep the Shabbat before giving them the commandment to build the
Mishkan. This told the Jewish People that even though the building of the
Mishkan was important the still must rest on Shabbat are recognize that Hashem
created the world.
Shabbat Shalom
