Dear Parents,
This week, we started learning about “Pesach”
(Passover).
Cursive Hebrew letters:
We finished learning how to write more than half of the Hebrew
letters in cursive. The students have been focusing on forming the letters
correctly and reading words written in cursive script. This week, we reviewed the
letters: א ב ג ד ה ו ז ח י כ נ ן ס ק ר ת
Hebrew sentence:
מהר מהר כי לא טוב לאחר-Hurry up, quickly!
it is not good to be late.
Please read what it is all about in this week's
library book
“My library” הַסִפְרִיָה שֶלִי "
This week’s book is called:"אופס" -“Oops”
Please encourage your child to read it aloud to
you over the weekend .It is a great way to practice all the vocabulary we have
learned.
Ariot:
This week Ariot is going to Miriam M (Mimi)’s home.
Parashat Hashavua:
This Friday you will find in your child’s folder
a picture page with a summary of the story of Parashat : "ויקהל
פקודי" We reviewed
all the various vessels that are in the Mishkan and we learned that Bezalel was
the one appointed by Hashem to build the Mishkan. We also learned that Moshe
first warned them to keep the Shabbat before giving them the commandment to
build the Mishkan. This told the Jewish People that even though the building of
the Mishkan was important the still must rest on Shabbat are recognize that
Hashem created the world.
