ויקרא 2018

בס"ד
3.16.2018

Dear Parents,
We can feel Pesach in the air!

Passover:
This week, we continued learning about “Pesach” (Passover).
We have reviewed the entire order of the Seder night as written in the Haggadah.

What’s in the box?
This week we almost finished Ariot 3 workbook.
We read the story called “Dan Ve Dina naganim” (The story is about children named Dan and Dina who play musical instruments). I brought to the class my own musical instrument in a big box. I asked the children to guess what musical instrument was in the box and no one was able to guess correctly!  (Ask your child what instrument it was or flip the page and look at the picture.). I explained what the instrument was and I played some songs the students knew. We concluded with the “Hatikvah”.

“My library” הַסִפְרִיָה שֶלִי "
This week’s book is called:"יש חמץ?" - “Yesh Hametz?” (Is there a “Hametz”?).
It is a story about finding the Hametz with a special helper. (The “Tuki”- parrot).
Please encourage your child to read it aloud to you over the weekend. It is a great way to practice.

Ariot:
This week Ariot is going to Elianna’s home.

Parashat Hashavua:
This Friday you will find in your child’s folder a picture page with a summary of the story of Parashat :ויקרא"”. We learned that the Jews brought Korbanot because the process of bringing a korban helped them become close to Hashem.

Vocabulary:
We are continuing with our two week Passover’s  word list.
The test will be on Thursday  3/22/18.
