פרשת צו (לפני פסח)

Dear Parents,
we can feel Pesach in the air!

Passover:
This week, we continued learning about “Pesach” (Passover). We almost finished making our own interactive Haggadot (I will sent it home B”H on Tusday).
We have reviewed the entire order of the Seder night as written in the Haggadah. We learned the names of the ten plagues in Hebrew and English. We also learned the four names for Passover as well as the names of the four sons mentioned in the Haggadah.  We also learned that the four cups of wine we drink at the Seder stand for the four different languages for redemption. Of course, there is still more to learn! We will be spending a lot of time over the next week learning all the laws and customs surrounding the Seder night and Pesach.

Cursive Hebrew letters:
We finished learning how to write all the cursive Hebrew letters. From now on it is required to use only cursive. Please make sure your child is writing his/her letters correctly.

“My library” הַסִפְרִיָה שֶלִי "
This week’s book is called:"יש חמץ?" -“Yesh Hametz?” (is there a “Hametz”?).
It is a story about finding the Hametz with a special helper. (the “Tuki”- parrot).
Please encourage your child to read it aloud to you over the weekend. It is a great way to practice.

Ariot:
This week Ariot is going to Adrian’s home.

Parashat Hashavua: Parashat :צו""
This Friday we learned about the 2 jobs that the Kohanit does today since we don't have "BEt-Hamikdas" (The holy tempel).

Vocabulary words:
It is a short week, so there are  no vocabulary words.

Shabbat Shalom
From Morah Irit
